Strengthening Talents and Employment Pathways – Unlocking Potential in mental health recovery (STEP-UP)

The STEP-UP project aims to improve IPS (Individual Placement & Support), a program that supports people with mental health challenges in finding regular competitive jobs. Many face extra obstacles, for example due to memory or concentration problems, insecurity about their own capabilities, or cultural background. Together with clients, professionals, and organizations, we will create simple tools like conversation guides and exercises to help people express their strengths and needs. We will also provide materials for employers and support staff. These tools will be tested in everyday IPS practice. The goal is to make IPS more effective and accessible for people seeking meaningful work.
